Meet Our 2024 Featured Speakers

  • Bryan Holzappel

    Pastor Bryan serves at the Fort Branch Church of the Nazarene (Agape) as their senior pastor. He is a gifted speaker, musician/worship leader, and scholar of the word. Bryan and his wife, Alyssa, have a strong desire to see people find hope in Jesus.

  • Amber Cook

    Rev. Amber Cook became the lead pastor of Grace Fellowship Church in April, 2016. Previously, she served in New Zealand as a Global Partners missionary focused on leadership development after serving Stateside as a youth pastor in three different contexts. Amber and her husband, Darin, share a heart to see God’s Kingdom advanced and His people growing in both Christ-like character and the empowerment of His Holy Spirit.

  • Matthew Presley

    Pastor Matt is currently the lead pastor at the FBWC. Before coming to Fort Branch, Matt led a recovery ministry called UNBOUND at Forrest Hills Wesleyan Church. He and his family are passionate about community outreach and leading people from all walks of life to full healing Christ.

  • Abbie Jasper-Brown

    Abbie is one of the current youth leaders at the FBWC and makes up a huge part of our ministry team. Hailing from a small town in Spencer County, Abbie came to the Evansville area to study music at University of Evansville. She has a strong desire to see children and youth grow in their walk with Christ.

  • Alex Rahman

    Alex serves as the Worship & Youth Ministry Leader for the Grace Fellowship Wesleyan Church in Princeton, IN. He and his wife, Carissa, have a heart for equipping young people to find and grow in their relationship with God and Biblical foundation.

  • Kristi Pflug

    Kristi is a gifted speaker from the Fort Branch United Methodist Church. She is passionate about her family and serving Jesus.

Ministry Partners - Tara Powell Ministries

Tara Powell is a sought after Christian Speaker whose ministry focuses on serving the hurting and bringing them to the healing power of Jesus Christ.  After the death of her son, in 1996, she devoted her life to helping the hurt, the lost and the dying. With twenty-five years of Christian ministry her passion is evident, she simply loves Jesus; and, living proof that our pain has purpose.  Tara holds a Bachelor’s degree in Ministry and is certified in Pastoral Thanatology (study of death and dying) as well as Grief Counseling.   She is a Licensed Minister of the Gospel and is known for her expertise in end of life care.

Sabrina Newton is a music servant and singer for Jesus. Her ministry has spanned over three decades of bringing hope and God’s truth through “the right song at the right time.” Sabrina serves as worship leader for Tara Powell Ministries helping to lead women closer to Jesus. Originally from Nashville, TN, Sabrina’s career has encompassed working in the fields of music publishing, radio promotions, performing rights and for a record label all while doing studio session work,
raising a family and serving in her local church.
